5. How to use the product
◎Remove the molten slag on the surface of the molten iron in the intermediate frequency furnace: Before the molten iron comes out of the furnace, sprinkle an appropriate amount of this product on the surface of the molten iron. The amount should be enough to form a complete expanded slag layer with a certain thickness on the molten metal surface. Use a steel drill Removing this slag layer achieves the purpose of removing slag on the surface of molten iron. You can repeat this operation until there is no slag on the metal surface.
◎ Used for slag collection and slag removal in the burning ladle: After the molten iron ladle is filled with molten iron, quickly sprinkle an appropriate amount of this product on the surface of the molten iron. The amount should be enough to form a complete expanded slag layer of a certain thickness on the surface of the molten iron. Use a slag rake. Or use a steel drill to remove this slag layer to achieve the purpose of collecting and removing slag. Special attention should be paid to: when using this product in the production of ductile iron, the scum after the spheroidization reaction must be scooped out with a rake, and then a certain amount of this product should be sprinkled on the surface of the molten iron to collect and remove the slag. Generally, two to three operations are required.
◎Used for insulating the ladle and collecting slag during pouring: quickly sprinkle a layer of this product on the surface of the molten iron after removing the slag. The amount should be enough to form a complete puffed layer on the surface of the molten iron. Transfer this insulation layer with it. Pouring in a pouring ladle can achieve a good effect of heat preservation and slag collection.
