Uses
The main use of mica soil is in the general compound of gypsum, where it acts as a filler and expansion kit, bringing smoother homogeneity, improving workability and preventing cracking. In the paint industry, soil mica used as a pigment extender also facilitates suspension due to its light weight and platypus morphology. Ground mica also reduces inspection and chalking, prevents shrinkage and cutting of paint film, increases water-proof and weathering capabilities, and brightens the color tone of color pigments. Mica soil is also used in the well drilling industry as an additive to mud mud drilling.
The plastic industry has used ground mica as an extension and extension kit and as a reinforcing agent. The rubber industry uses soil mica as an inert filler and as a mold lubricant in the production of molded rubber products, including tires.
Mica sheets are mainly used in the electrical and electronic industries. The main applications of mica sheets and blocks are insulators in electronics, insulation, glass glazing, windows in kitchens and kerosene, dielectric heaters in capacitors, decorative panels in lamps and windows, insulation in electric motors and generators, field coil insulation, and insulating core magnet and commutator.
